WREXHAM guitar prodigy Olly Pearson is stepping onto the live stage and it’s with none other than Guns N’ Roses tribute act, Guns 2 Roses.

The 11-year-old sensation, who shot to global fame after his jaw-dropping appearance in a viral Bohemian Rhapsody flashmob in Paris, will join the band for a special show at The Cavern Club in Liverpool this Thursday.

The flashmob, which took place in the streets of Paris on September 8, was orchestrated by pianist Julien Cohen alongside singer Mickey Callisto and a 30-piece team of musicians. Videos of the performance spread like wildfire online, racking up tens of millions of views across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit within days. Cohen’s Instagram clip alone received over 10.6 million likes and 135,000 comments in less than 48 hours.

The event wasn’t random—organisers staged the performance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Queen’s 1975 masterpiece, Bohemian Rhapsody. Cohen called it “the most INSANE Bohemian Rhapsody flashmob you will ever see,” while Callisto admitted: “Never in a million years would I have thought I’d be coming into Paris on a horse and carriage singing Bohemian Rhapsody.”

For many, though, the standout moment came from Olly Pearson. Standing small but mighty among seasoned musicians, the young guitarist lit up the streets of Paris with his electrifying stage presence. Fans quickly crowned him the future of rock. “Bohemian Rhapsody is already powerful, but with 30 voices echoing through Paris it probably felt like a once-in-a-lifetime concert,” one Reddit user commented, while another wrote: “This gave me chills, the harmonies in the middle part are unreal.”

Reflecting on the sudden attention, Olly admitted: “It’s been incredible… I didn’t really know what to do at first. Everything feels so new and exciting.”

His rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Earlier this year, Olly became the first act in Britain’s Got Talent history to receive two golden buzzers in one season, winning praise from all four judges. Simon Cowell, who sent him straight to the finals, later admitted: “I probably went a little bit early, but I was so excited. He was bloody brilliant—so small, so talented, and carries magic.”

Music has always run in Olly’s blood. Under the guidance of his grandfather Lee and with constant support from his father Simon, he began busking across North Wales and Chester, drawing early attention with his powerful renditions of AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, and, of course, Guns N’ Roses.

The Cavern Club announced: “Get ready to experience the ultimate GN’R hits in a show that’s as close to the real deal as it gets! Don’t miss out.”
