Just when it seemed fans had seen every amazing Bohemian Rhapsody cover imaginable—from standout Britain’s Got Talent performances to spontaneous crowd sing-alongs and haka renditions—the streets of Paris delivered a performance that literally came out of nowhere, and it was every bit as exciting, magical, and inspiring as the original.

The newly released Part 2 of the Paris flash mob brought an unforgettable spectacle: 20 opera singers appeared from the windows of historic Parisian buildings, harmonizing alongside lead vocalist Mickey Callisto, while 11-year-old guitar prodigy Olly Pearson shredded a flawless solo on the street below.

Three women in white opened shutters and began the iconic “Is this the real life…” line with a soaring, almost Disney-like quality. A pianist, appearing seemingly from nowhere, added layers to the rich, immersive sound, while Callisto, riding down the street in a horse-drawn carriage, delivered “Mama, just killed a man…” with a performance so captivating that one could imagine Freddie Mercury smiling from above.

The flash mob was part spectacle, part immersive theater. In total, 30 musicians and singers took part in the event, merging technical mastery with theatrical flair.

The performance was praised for capturing the essence of Mercury’s vision. Over 1,000 social media comments applauded the production, with fans noting it was performed “definitely in the spirit of the original, just as Freddie Mercury would have wanted.” Other comments captured the awe of witnesses: “Could you imagine seeing this? Like omg I’d be freaking out,” and “Flash mob of healing vibes.”

Pianist and creative force Julien Cohen orchestrated the ambitious collaboration. Cohen, whose social media is filled with viral duets with talented musicians, brought together a diverse lineup to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
