In a performance that left crowds speechless, 11-year-old guitar sensation Olly Pearson took center stage at a VE Day street party on May 10, 2025, shredding Guns N’ Roses’ legendary Sweet Child o’ Mine with a skill far beyond his years.
Following his viral Bohemian Rhapsody performance in Paris alongside Mickey Callisto, which amassed over 190 million combined views worldwide, Pearson has proven he’s ready to dominate any stage he steps onto.
Olly, who first gained fame on Britain’s Got Talent, wowed judges with his electrifying solos of AC/DC, Van Halen, and Queen, earning a golden buzzer from Amanda Holden.
The schoolboy’s talent has been nurtured since he first picked up a guitar at seven, learning with his grandad Lee over Zoom during the COVID lockdown. By the time he appeared on national television, he had already performed at local guitar shows and venues, showing an uncanny ability to command an audience.
“Every time I perform in front of lots of people, I just want to perform for even more,” Pearson said, reflecting on his growing passion for the stage. His ambitions extend far beyond local gigs, with dreams of headlining Wembley Stadium and performing for royalty at the Royal Variety Show. “I’ve heard the King likes rock music. I could get him to rock out,” he said, smiling.
