In a red-carpet interview with E! News, Ford revealed, \u201cI don\u2019t tell my wife what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That applies to both their home life and careers. He delivered an emotional, eight-minute-long acceptance speech onstage that had both him and his wife teary-eyed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes we make entertainment; sometimes we make art. Sometimes we\u2019re lucky to make \u2019em both at the same time, and if we\u2019re really fortunate, we also get to make a living doing it,\u201d he said as he reflected on his decades-long acting career, later adding, \u201cI\u2019m indeed a lucky guy. Lucky to have found my people, lucky to have work that challenges me, lucky to still be doing it. They will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary in June.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the Indiana Jones star opened up about his romance with the Ally McBeal alum during an August 2025 appearance on NPR\u2019s Wild Card with Rachel Martin. I was married for the first time at 23 years of age, which should be illegal,\u201d referring to his first marriage to ex-wife Mary Marquardt.<\/p>\n<p>Early into his relationship with the Brothers &amp; Sisters actress, Ford reflected on finding love again in a 2003 interview with Hello!, saying, \u201cRomantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life.
